Some self-hosted servers have group policies with welcome, legal and other interactive messages which can interfere with the proper launch of Cameyo sessions.

Some of the symptoms are particularly long launch delays ending in an error like this:

By selecting the small eyelid at the bottom right-hand side of the session, you can expose any masked messages which might be causing the delays:

Unmasked message with the characteristic blue screen background (there can be others like welcome messages, legal messages and INTERACTIVE messages all managed by Group Policy)

EXAMPLE

The user first needs to press ok before the Cameyo session can be presented

Solution:

  1. Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System and clear /delete any legal or other messages defined here:

2.   In most Corporate environments,  removing it via registry will not be sufficient and the message will return after a policy update.  Speak to your Wintel team about moving the server into a baseline deployment with this policy removed.
